“There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.”             Jane Austen

You did it! All of your stuff is moved into the great dorm/apartment/house that you found.  Finally, you are on your own with no one to tell you what to do, what to eat or it’s time to go to bed. You feel as if you’ll never stop smiling.

Now what?

The refrigerator is empty, the bathroom smells funny and where is your suit? Your new job starts tomorrow; what are you supposed to do?

Take a deep breath. Let it out slowly.

It takes time to transform a new place into an inviting, orderly, food filled home.  This blog can help. You’ll find a sample grocery list to assist you in loading up the refrigerator and how-to posts to help clean the bathroom and bedroom.  With a little bit of planning and work you will have the place of your dreams.   So if you’re sitting in the living room with unpacked boxes all around you: order pizza for dinner, look for the box marked “work clothes” and remember to set the alarm so you can get up for your new job.

You passed algebra – you can do this.

I believe in you.
